Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the Statistical Programming department meets project timelines, delivers high-quality outputs, complies with SOPs, and stays within budget.
Contribute to developing departmental SOPs and guidelines to standardize processes for efficiency.
Lead staff development, training, and retention initiatives, including setting goals, managing performance, and supporting career growth.
Facilitate succession planning and maintain a diverse, skilled statistical programming team.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, transfers, and terminations as needed.
Maintain expertise in clinical drug development, ICH guidelines, regulatory requirements, and statistical programming methodologies.
Provide training and mentorship to Statistical Programming associates.
Prioritize tasks across projects and mediate conflicts to find operational solutions.
Assign programmers to projects based on skills, training, and utilization goals.
Lead or support multiple studies or program-level projects.
Participate in departmental or corporate initiatives and support business development activities.
Perform other duties as assigned, with minimal travel required.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in statistical programming with leadership responsibilities.
Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory guidelines, and SAS programming.
Excellent team management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary Range: ₹28,00,000 – ₹35,00,000 per annum (estimated industry standard for senior statistical programming leadership roles in India).
