  • Provide accurate, unbiased, and up-to-date medical information regarding disease states, clinical data, and pharmaceutical therapies

  • Build strong relationships with scientific experts and academic researchers

  • Facilitate scientific exchange between the pharmaceutical industry and the medical community

  • Identify opportunities for collaborative research, investigator-initiated studies, and scientific partnerships

  • Communicate clinical insights and field intelligence to Lilly’s medical and cross-functional teams

  • Develop and implement strategic territory plans to maximize engagement and scientific impact

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and ethical standards

  • Collaborate with internal teams including medical affairs, clinical development, and commercial strategy teams


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in health sciences such as PharmD, MD, or PhD in a medically related field

  • 2–3 years of relevant clinical, research, or therapeutic area experience

  • Candidates with Masters or Bachelors in health sciences with 5+ years relevant experience may also be considered

  • Prior Medical Science Liaison or field medical experience in the oncology therapeutic area preferred

  • Experience engaging with Scientific Experts (SEs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

  • Strong knowledge of oncology disease biology, clinical research, and pharmaceutical therapeutics

  • Excellent scientific presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to interpret complex clinical and scientific literature

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities

  • High emotional intelligence and relationship-building capability

  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment

  • Proficiency with scientific databases, literature search tools, and digital communication platforms
