Manager, Clinical Operations – Bangalore (Office-Based)

Job Summary

ICON plc, the world’s largest clinical research organization, is hiring a Manager, Clinical Operations in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity for clinical research professionals with over 10 years of experience and 3+ years in project or team leadership roles. You’ll play a key role in driving performance, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening stakeholder relationships in a dynamic healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a clinical operations team of 25+ professionals.

  • Own performance KPIs through coaching, feedback, and process optimization.

  • Serve as a primary liaison with internal stakeholders for alignment and communication.

  • Oversee client relationship management and resolve operational escalations.

  • Ensure quality and timeliness of clinical service delivery.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical research and associated systems.

  • At least 3 years of experience in people management or as a Clinical Trial Manager (CTM)/Project Manager (PM).

  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

  • Prior experience with performance metrics and team development.
