Role Summary

The Leadless Clinical Specialist supports the clinical adoption and procedural success of Abbott’s leadless cardiac rhythm management technology. This field-based role works with hospitals and clinical teams across the Northeast Territory, based in New York City or Boston, and involves significant travel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive safe and effective adoption of Abbott’s leadless CRM technology

  • Educate healthcare professionals on therapy indications, patient selection, procedural use, and post-implant care

  • Provide technical and clinical support during procedures, including troubleshooting and guidance

  • Deliver strategic programs to facilitate training, in-services, physician seminars, and site education

  • Analyze clinical data and share insights to optimize procedural outcomes

  • Serve as therapy expert across CRM technology, devices, programming, and reimbursement

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and clinical leadership to shape future technology and training initiatives

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive landscape and clinical publications

  • Travel extensively to support customer engagement and procedural success


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or healthcare-related field

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years in the medical device industry, preferably with CRM/leadless device experience

    • Strong clinical, technical, and procedural support background

    • Effective communication and customer influencing skills

    • Familiarity with hospital/lab workflows and high-stakes clinical environments

  • Skills:

    • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools

    • Ability to work independently and across cross-functional teams

    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical education or training certifications

  • Prior sales experience or strong business acumen


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $85,300 – $170,700 (may vary by location)
