Lead Mammography Technologist

Compensation: $50 to $65 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other related devices, following company policies and protocols.
  • Travel to RadNet sites within the practice subsidiary to assess training and support needs for Mammography Technologists.
  • Work directly with the Training Mammography Director to ensure proper onboarding and training of Mammography Technologists.
  • Ensure MQSA and ACR requirements are met, including quality assurance, clinical image quality, and quality control throughout the region.
  • Conduct Technologist Image Reviews, providing routine and ad hoc feedback consistent with department guidelines.
  • Perform Radiologist Image Review/Peer Review measures to certify image review for each Radiologist at each location.
  • Collaborate with technologists to develop efficiency standards that meet or exceed productivity and daily volume expectations.
  • Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure the proper handling of on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
  • Exhibit professional behavior towards patients and coworkers while maintaining respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
  • Display strong interpersonal abilities and maintain cooperative working relationships in a clinical setting.

Requirements:

  • ARRT(R) (M) certification.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • BLS certification.
  • Familiarity with RIS, imaging equipment, and PACS in assigned modality.
  • Ability to maintain all required quality standards.
