Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead - Delivery to manage and guide a team in medical coding, focusing on performance, client management, and team development. The role includes overseeing daily operations, resolving issues, ensuring training, and maintaining team morale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Management: Monitor, identify, and resolve performance, behavior, and attendance issues using established techniques.
  • Disciplinary Action: Address personnel and disciplinary matters promptly.
  • Expert Guidance: Provide subject matter expertise to Quality Control Analysts.
  • Training & Development: Ensure the team's training needs are met, and adjust operations to meet service level agreements under the supervision of the Operations Manager.
  • Team Communication: Regularly hold team meetings, communicate process and client updates, and maintain records of such updates.
  • Client Interaction: Manage client-related training and maintain records of completed training.
  • Team Leadership: Manage the day-to-day functional supervision of the team, including work assignments, attendance, and performance appraisals.

Job Specification:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Medical Coding with a focus on the EM (Emergency Medicine) specialty.
  • Certifications: Coding certifications such as CPC, CCS, COC, or AHIMA are required.
  • Education: Any graduate.
  • Skills: Experience in Client and Stakeholder Management, Team Management, and Medical Coding.
