Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of coders focused on IVR-related medical coding

  • Translate IVR procedures and diagnoses into standardized codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) for billing and compliance

  • Perform regular audits and quality reviews to ensure coding accuracy and adherence to industry standards

  • Mentor and train team members, providing guidance on complex coding scenarios

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, compliance, and billing teams to maintain coding accuracy and documentation quality

  • Drive continuous improvement across coding processes and turnaround time


Preferred Qualifications

  • Coding certifications such as CPC, CCS, COC, or AHIMA-equivalent

  • Exposure to audit practices and coding compliance reviews

  • Strong analytical thinking, decision-making ability, and team leadership
