The Axial Technology team partners with business colleagues to deliver cutting-edge technology capabilities that will drive AstraZeneca’s vision of delivering life-changing medicines.

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Consultant (Product Expert) – Record to Report with specialized knowledge in deploying S/4HANA solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in finance business processes and a proven track record of driving successful integration projects with SAP S/4HANA and other finance solutions. This role requires excellent business analysis, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with globally distributed cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Solutions: Design and implement integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA, SAP Modules in Record to Report (such as SAP FI, SAP CO), and other finance solutions.
Expert Advice: Provide guidance on best practices for deploying SAP S/4HANA within the Record to Report process.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business units, to ensure seamless integration and optimized performance.
Functional Expertise: Support SAP functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment.
Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation in line with AstraZeneca’s standards and mentor junior team members on SAP S/4HANA Record to Report processes.
Automation & Innovation: Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to improve business operations.
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in finance and supply chain to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

Key Competencies

Deep technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its integration with other IT solutions in the Record to Report process.
Strong understanding of supply chain planning and optimization principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable Skills

Experience in the Life Sciences and Pharma industry, especially in end-to-end supply chain planning processes.
SAP Certified in SAP S/4HANA Finance or Controlling.
