Lead Clinical Specialist – Digital Health

Position Overview

The Lead Clinical Specialist plays a strategic role in advancing digital health adoption across India’s healthcare ecosystem. This position supports the implementation, adoption, and optimization of health-focused technology solutions in collaboration with government bodies, healthcare systems, life sciences organizations, and academic institutions.

The role combines clinical expertise, leadership capability, and health technology acumen to ensure solutions deliver meaningful clinical and public health outcomes. The successful candidate will act as a trusted subject-matter expert, bridging clinical practice, policy frameworks, and innovative healthcare technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation and adoption of digital health and healthcare technology solutions across India’s healthcare ecosystem.

  • Serve as a clinical subject-matter expert and strategic partner for government agencies, healthcare providers, life sciences organizations, and academic institutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to align product capabilities with clinical needs, regulatory frameworks, and partner requirements.

  • Provide expert consultation and ongoing support to internal stakeholders to ensure technology solutions deliver measurable value.

  • Establish and manage strong relationships with senior leaders within healthcare systems, public health bodies, and internal leadership teams.

  • Work in interdisciplinary environments to solve complex healthcare challenges while maintaining long-term stakeholder partnerships.

  • Support alignment between healthcare policy, regulatory considerations, and digital health innovation initiatives in India.


Education and Experience Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience (inclusive of training) following completion of medical degree.

  • At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a hospital or primary care setting.

Preferred Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare implementation, program management, health policy, or healthcare technology.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience within the healthcare or health technology sector.

  • Direct experience working within the Indian healthcare system.


Core Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare delivery models, and public health systems.

  • Ability to translate complex clinical and technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive adoption of innovative healthcare solutions.
