About the Role

Google for Health is focused on advancing digital health innovation globally. This role plays a key part in enabling high-impact health solutions across India by integrating Google’s technologies with real-world healthcare needs. The Lead Clinical Specialist will collaborate with government agencies, healthcare systems, life sciences organizations, academic institutions, and internal Google teams to support the adoption and implementation of digital health tools.

India is a priority market for Google’s Health initiatives. The successful candidate will help accelerate digital transformation in healthcare, guide clinical integration, and support the responsible deployment of AI-based health solutions.


Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Medical Degree: MBBS, MD, or an equivalent recognized qualification.

  • 5 years of clinical experience (including residency/training) after completion of medical degree.

  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a hospital or primary care setting.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in healthcare implementation, public health programs, policy, technology integration, or healthcare program management.

  • 5 years of leadership experience in the healthcare sector.

  • Experience working within the Indian health ecosystem.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex medical and technical concepts for non-medical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Implementation and Adoption: Guide partners across the India healthcare ecosystem in deploying and adopting Google’s health-focused tools.

  • Serve as a Clinical Expert: Represent Google externally as a subject matter expert for government bodies, hospitals, life sciences partners, and academic stakeholders.

  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Establish relationships with leaders across India’s healthcare sector and collaborate with Google’s internal teams.

  • Support Product Integration: Work with product management, engineering, policy, and partner-facing teams to address challenges and improve outcomes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Contribute to interdisciplinary efforts across multiple product areas and regulatory frameworks to ensure effective and compliant solution deployment.

  • Internal Consulting: Provide clinical consultation to Google teams and ensure that Google’s health tools deliver measurable value to partners.
