Job Summary:

ICON plc is hiring a Lead Clinical Data Science Programmer to join its globally recognized Biometrics Portfolio team in India (Bangalore/Remote). This is an excellent opportunity for life sciences graduates with 7+ years of experience in clinical data management, data flow transformation, and system integration within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry. The role is critical to managing end-to-end clinical data processes supporting data review, cleaning, and analysis for Phase I-IV clinical trials.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the data flow lifecycle for Phase I-IV clinical trials including data ingest, transformation, and internal availability for analysis.

  • Drive technical and process improvement initiatives within the clinical data management framework.

  • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of study-level data.

  • Work cross-functionally with clinical operations, data management, and IT teams to resolve issues affecting data stability and flow.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in clinical data systems and processes supporting end-to-end data flow.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent field.

  • Prior experience working on global clinical studies, projects, or process/system initiatives within pharma or CRO industry.

  • Expertise in data transformation and data readiness processes supporting data review and cleaning.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with data management, clinical operations, and IT support teams.
