Job Summary:
ICON plc is hiring a Lead Clinical Data Science Programmer to join its globally recognized Biometrics Portfolio team in India (Bangalore/Remote). This is an excellent opportunity for life sciences graduates with 7+ years of experience in clinical data management, data flow transformation, and system integration within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry. The role is critical to managing end-to-end clinical data processes supporting data review, cleaning, and analysis for Phase I-IV clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the data flow lifecycle for Phase I-IV clinical trials including data ingest, transformation, and internal availability for analysis.
Drive technical and process improvement initiatives within the clinical data management framework.
Collaborate with external vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of study-level data.
Work cross-functionally with clinical operations, data management, and IT teams to resolve issues affecting data stability and flow.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in clinical data systems and processes supporting end-to-end data flow.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent field.
Prior experience working on global clinical studies, projects, or process/system initiatives within pharma or CRO industry.
Expertise in data transformation and data readiness processes supporting data review and cleaning.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with data management, clinical operations, and IT support teams.
