About the Role

IQVIA, a global leader in clinical research, healthcare intelligence, and data analytics, is hiring Lead Clinical Data Managers to oversee end-to-end clinical data management for large-scale, multinational trials. This remote opportunity allows you to lead cross-functional teams, ensure data accuracy, and drive compliance across complex clinical studies.

As a Lead Clinical Data Manager, you will manage all aspects of the data lifecycle—from study setup to database lock—ensuring high-quality delivery that enables the development of innovative therapies. You will also act as the primary client contact, guiding project execution and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical data management for global, complex trials, ensuring data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients on all data management deliverables.

  • Oversee SAE, PK, and external data reconciliation, database deployment, and validation processes.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet client expectations.

  • Mentor junior and mid-level data management staff, promoting best practices and standardized workflows.

  • Drive process improvements and ensure strict adherence to SOPs, GCP, and ICH guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Clinical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of direct clinical data management experience, including 5+ years in a Lead or Senior CDM role.

  • Proven success managing large global clinical trials (1000+ patients).

  • Expertise in EDC systems such as Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or similar platforms.

  • Strong understanding of GCP, ICH, and global clinical trial regulations.

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to FSP (Functional Service Provider) and sponsor-agnostic delivery models.

  • Hands-on experience with global project planning, cross-functional collaboration, and risk management.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and implement CDM best practices across teams.

Compensation:
Annual base pay range: $68,500 – $217,100, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentives, bonuses, and additional benefits may apply.
