Job Overview

IQVIA is expanding its Clinical Data Management (CDM) team and is seeking experienced Lead Clinical Data Managers to oversee end-to-end data management for global clinical trials. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while managing cross-functional teams, ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of critical insights that drive the development of innovative therapies.

This position is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, global study management, and regulatory standards. You will act as a strategic partner for clients, guiding data management processes from study setup to database lock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data management operations for complex, multinational clinical trials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.

  • Serve as the primary client contact for data management activities, providing expert guidance and status updates.

  • Oversee data reconciliation for SAEs, pharmacokinetics (PK), and external data, including database deployment and validation.

  • Manage study timelines, budgets, and resources, aligning with client expectations and project milestones.

  • Mentor and train junior data management staff, promoting best practices and process standardization.

  • Implement process improvements while ensuring compliance with GCP, ICH, SOPs, and other regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Clinical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, or related discipline.

  • 10+ years of direct clinical data management experience, including 5+ years in a Lead/Principal Data Manager role.

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale global studies (1000+ patients).

  • Expertise in EDC systems such as Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of clinical research processes, GCP, and ICH guidelines.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in functional service provider (FSP) and sponsor-agnostic delivery models.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration in global clinical operations.

  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior data management professionals.

Estimated Base Pay Range: $68,500 – $217,100 annually, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. Additional performance incentives, bonuses, and benefits may apply.
