Job Overview

IQVIA, a global leader in clinical research services, healthcare intelligence, and commercial insights, is seeking highly experienced Lead Clinical Data Managers to manage end-to-end clinical data management for large-scale, global clinical trials. This remote role offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of critical trial data that enables the development of innovative therapies.

The role is ideal for professionals with extensive EDC system expertise, experience managing complex global studies, and a strong understanding of GCP, ICH, and clinical trial processes. You will act as a key client contact and strategic partner, guiding the data management lifecycle from study setup to database lock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical data management for multinational clinical trials, ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Serve as the primary client liaison for all data management deliverables and reporting.

  • Oversee SAE, PK, and external data reconciliation, including database deployment and validation.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client expectations.

  • Mentor and train junior data management professionals, promoting standardized workflows and best practices.

  • Drive process improvements across the data management function while maintaining regulatory and SOP compliance.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Clinical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of direct clinical data management experience, including 5+ years in a Lead or Principal Clinical Data Manager role.

  • Proven success managing large-scale global studies (1000+ patients).

  • Expertise with EDC systems such as Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of clinical research regulations (GCP, ICH) and trial processes.

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Functional Service Provider (FSP) and sponsor-agnostic delivery models.

  • Hands-on experience in global clinical trial project planning and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members on best practices in clinical data management.
