Lead Clinical Data Manager (Remote)

Position Overview

IQVIA is expanding its global Clinical Data Management (CDM) team and is hiring multiple Lead Clinical Data Managers across both FSP (Functional Service Provider) and Traditional/Sponsor-Agnostic delivery models. This remote leadership role is designed for senior professionals who can manage end-to-end clinical data delivery for large-scale global trials while ensuring quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Candidates will be matched with the most suitable project team based on expertise, therapeutic background, and career goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all data management activities for complex global clinical trials from study setup to database lock.

  • Serve as the primary client liaison for data management deliverables and communications.

  • Oversee SAE, PK, and external data reconciliation, database builds, and EDC deployment.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Mentor and support junior data management staff to promote quality and best practices.

  • Drive continuous process improvements and uphold compliance with GCP, ICH, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure delivery excellence and operational consistency across multiple studies.


Experience Required

  • Minimum 10 years of direct Clinical Data Management experience.

  • At least 5 years in a Lead Clinical Data Manager or equivalent leadership role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Clinical Research, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

  • Proven success managing large, global clinical studies with 1,000+ patients.

  • Strong hands-on experience with major EDC platforms such as Medidata Rave and Oracle InForm.

  • Comprehensive understanding of clinical research, data standards, query management, and regulatory frameworks (GCP, ICH).

  • Previous roles may include:

    • Clinical Data Manager

    • Senior Clinical Data Manager

    • Lead Data Manager

    • Principal Data Manager

    • Data Management Project Manager

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Experience Level: Senior / Lead / Advanced Clinical Data Management Professional

Compensation

Annual base pay range: USD 68,500 – USD 217,100
Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and job scope. Additional incentives and benefits may apply depending on the final position.
