Position Overview

IQVIA is expanding its global Clinical Data Management function and is hiring multiple Lead Clinical Data Managers across both FSP (Functional Service Provider) and Traditional Sponsor-Agnostic delivery models. This remote role offers an opportunity to manage end-to-end data management activities for complex global clinical trials while working with diverse clients, therapeutic areas, and study teams.

As a Lead Clinical Data Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality data delivery, maintaining regulatory compliance, and guiding cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle of clinical programs.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all clinical data management activities from study initiation through database lock.
• Serve as the primary client contact for data management deliverables and communication.
• Manage SAE, PK, and external data reconciliation, including database deployment and validation.
• Develop, monitor, and manage timelines, budgets, and resource plans to support project delivery.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior data management professionals.
• Support process improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with global SOPs, GCP, ICH, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive high standards of quality, accuracy, documentation, and compliance across all data management operations.
• Collaborate with global project teams to develop consistent, efficient, and scalable data solutions.


Experience Required

Minimum 10 years of hands-on Clinical Data Management experience, including 5 years in a Lead Clinical Data Management role.
• Demonstrated success overseeing large, global clinical studies, ideally with 1000+ subjects.
• Prior experience in positions such as Clinical Data Manager, Senior Clinical Data Manager, Lead Data Manager, Principal Data Manager, or Data Management Project Manager.
• Proven expertise with major EDC platforms such as Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or equivalent systems.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and global clinical research processes.
• Exceptional communication, leadership capability, problem-solving skills, and client-facing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
