About the Role

Q² Solutions, the laboratory division of IQVIA, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Associate to support laboratory operations in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role focuses on performing routine testing, maintaining laboratory instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures to support high-quality clinical research.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install and qualify new laboratory equipment and instrumentation following standard operating procedures.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, coordinate external vendor support, and maintain accurate equipment life-cycle documentation.

  • Conduct calibration and verification of validated instruments in line with SOP requirements.

  • Troubleshoot laboratory equipment, identify operational issues, and recommend corrective solutions.

  • Repair analytical instruments and laboratory devices when necessary.

  • Develop, update, and maintain SOPs related to instrumentation and metrology.

  • Monitor environmental, temperature, and generator alert systems, ensuring timely responses.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support quality, safety, and six-sigma initiatives.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment.

  • Hands-on experience in calibration, repair, and maintenance of laboratory measuring and testing equipment.

  • Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Experience troubleshooting laboratory instruments and addressing process-related issues.

  • Equivalent education, training, or experience may be considered in place of formal degree requirements.

Compensation

The annualized base pay range for this position is $34,700 – $72,300, depending on education, experience, location, and job-related skills. Additional compensation may include incentive plans, bonuses, and a comprehensive range of health and welfare benefits.
