Labcorp is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head the Immunology & Immunotoxicology (I&I) Laboratory Science team. This is more than a management position—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of immunological research and testing, driving scientific innovation and operational excellence.
🧭 Core Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Oversee all technical, regulatory, and supervisory functions across platforms such as:
Flow Cytometry
In-vitro Cell-Based Assays
Immunoassay Biomarker Activities
Lead and inspire a high-performing scientific team aligned with global strategies.
Foster a culture of empowerment, engagement, and continuous learning.
Recruit, train, and retain top talent, guiding them through Labcorp’s Performance Management & Development (PMD) process.
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and quality across all operations.
Operational Management
Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring timely and high-quality testing services.
Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and delivery goals.
Monitor and report performance metrics and operational insights to leadership.
Recommend budget adjustments to support growth, efficiency, and innovation.
Own and track business performance metrics for sustainable success.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality
Stay ahead of evolving GLP and GCP regulations; ensure strict adherence.
Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Champion quality improvement initiatives and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with global teams and cross-functional departments on special projects and strategic initiatives.
Anticipate and resolve operational challenges proactively.
🎓 Requirements
Education: MSc/PhD in Biology or related Life Science, or MBA
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in Life Sciences
Prior leadership experience (preferred)
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of GxP regulations and regulatory agency guidelines
Proven ability in team building, leadership, and people development
Expertise in strategic planning, negotiation, and process innovation
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
