We are seeking a Lab Equipment Specialist I to join our Princeton laboratory team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in regulated laboratory environments who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to support high-quality research operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
Operate robotic systems for sample processing and support routine analytical tasks.
Prepare reagents, maintain glassware, and manage laboratory supplies.
Ensure proper packaging, labeling, storage, and disposal of regulated medical and hazardous waste.
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance, and laboratory operations.
Assist with sample management, shipping, receiving, and basic administrative/receptionist duties.
Support minor facility maintenance and laboratory housekeeping tasks.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with regulatory and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or actively enrolled student; post-secondary education is a plus.
Demonstrated aptitude and willingness to follow instructions accurately.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a regulated laboratory or clinical research environment.
Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail for critical laboratory tasks.
Basic English proficiency to understand instructions and communicate effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
