In 2021, our products touched 766 million patients globally. But we know there’s more to be done, and we need passionate, curious, and collaborative people like you to help us continue advancing our science and improve patient outcomes. Join us to help reimagine medicine!
As part of the Global Discovery Chemistry (GDC) team at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), we are at the heart of Novartis' mission to design and develop new molecules that can address unmet medical needs. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Scientist with a strong background in medicinal and synthetic chemistry to help us drive the next generation of drug discovery.
In this role, you will co-lead multidisciplinary project teams focused on medicinal and synthetic chemistry. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to present and discuss scientific strategies and challenges clearly.
Interest in Emerging Technologies: A passion for disruptive technologies in drug discovery, including data science, automation, and miniaturization.
Health & Safety Commitment: A thorough understanding of Novartis' health, safety, and environmental policies, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented matrix environment.
