About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Line Specialist (IPA) to join our Healthcare Practice.
The IPA team partners with clients to optimize operations using AI-enabled automation and intelligent digital platforms.
This role focuses on expanding Cognizant’s healthcare and Gen AI presence across North America.


Key Responsibilities

  • Account Development & Strategy

    • Map client organizations and develop relationships with key decision-makers.

    • Collaborate with Cognizant’s Digital Operations and industry sales teams to design account strategies.

    • Develop go-to-market plans for healthcare accounts and identify automation-led growth opportunities.

  • Sales & Business Development

    • Manage the full sales cycle: opportunity qualification, proposal creation, commercial negotiation, and closure.

    • Create differentiated, value-driven solution proposals tailored to client needs.

    • Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline to achieve revenue and Total Commercial Value (TCV) targets.

  • Partnerships & Market Engagement

    • Engage with strategic product partners for joint marketing and sales initiatives.

    • Represent Cognizant at key industry events, conferences, and joint pursuits.

  • Account Growth & Delivery Support

    • Lead contract negotiations, financial terms, and outsourcing discussions.

    • Collaborate with account and delivery leadership to identify and mitigate engagement risks.

    • Develop and execute account growth strategies that align with overall business objectives.


Required Qualifications

  • Industry Expertise: Strong experience across Healthcare domains – Payers, PBMs, and Providers.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Proven Gen AI skills (AI certification preferred).

    • Experience in selling Automation, Process Consulting, and Data & Analytics solutions.

    • Deep understanding of business process transformation and automation opportunities.

  • Sales Skills:

    • Strong consultative selling and technical problem-solving abilities.

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills for C-suite interactions.

  • Work Style:

    • Hands-on, collaborative, and results-driven.

    • Ability to work in a matrixed, virtual, and fast-paced environment.

    • Capable of managing multiple concurrent pursuits with effective time prioritization.

  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, proactive, and growth-oriented.


Compensation

💰 Annual Base Salary: $150,000 – $170,000
🎯 Incentives: Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus program.
