Role Overview

This is a Corporate Finance + Investor Relations (IR) role rather than a scientific or clinical research position.

The analyst acts as the bridge between:

  • Company management

  • Institutional investors

  • Equity analysts

  • Shareholders

  • Credit rating agencies

The role focuses on communicating Syngene's financial performance, growth strategy, and business outlook to the investment community.


Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations

  • Develop and refine Syngene's investment story

  • Explain business strategy and long-term growth drivers

  • Maintain relationships with:

    • Buy-side investors

    • Sell-side analysts

    • Institutional shareholders

Earnings & Financial Communication

Lead preparation of:

  • Quarterly earnings presentations

  • Earnings call scripts

  • Financial fact sheets

  • Analyst Q&A documents

  • Investor conference presentations

Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with:

  • Finance

  • Business units

  • Strategy teams

  • Operations teams

  • Senior leadership

to gather business and financial information for investor communications.

Market & Competitor Intelligence

Track:

  • Peer company performance

  • Industry developments

  • Competitor earnings

  • Stock performance

  • Valuation trends

Prepare management reports and insights.

Annual Report & Board Support

  • Draft Investor Relations sections of Annual Reports

  • Prepare Board presentations

  • Analyze market perception and investor sentiment

Investor Engagement

  • Organize:

    • Investor roadshows

    • Analyst days

    • Investor conferences

    • One-on-one meetings with management

Serve as the primary contact for investors and research analysts.


Required Qualifications

Education

One of the following:

  • MBA (Finance)

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)

  • CFA Charterholder / CFA Candidate

Preferred Background

Experience in:

  • Investor Relations

  • Corporate Finance

  • Equity Research

  • Financial Advisory

  • Investment Banking

  • Corporate Strategy
