Your Role
As a Sr. Associate Scientist (QC Microbiology), you will perform and oversee microbiological and analytical testing to support product and process quality.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct analytical and microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, drug substances, and water.
Perform protein concentration analysis using UV/Solo VPE.
Lead technical reviews of assays, develop new methods, and optimize processes.
Document all work in compliance with cGMP and company procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes in an ICH Q7 environment.
Support investigations into OOS (Out-of-Specification) and OOT (Out-of-Trend) results.
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
Communicate effectively with production and laboratory staff to ensure quality compliance.

Friday – Monday | 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline
1+ years of QC laboratory experience
Preferred Qualifications
Current API knowledge
Familiarity with SOPs, cGMPs, GLP, GDP and quality control systems
Experience with endotoxin (USP <85>) and bioburden (USP <61>) testing
Knowledge of analytical methods, including UV/Solo VPE protein analysis
Experience with regulatory standards: ICH Q7, 21CFR210, USP, EP
Proficiency in aseptic techniques and troubleshooting microbiological processes
Strong documentation skills: writing, reviewing, and approving QC-controlled documents
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn specialized software
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $23.00 – $42.00 per hour
Actual pay based on location, experience, skills, and other factors
