Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Global Customer Insights Associate Lead to drive data-driven decision-making across global commercial, portfolio, and strategic initiatives.

In this role, you will transform complex patient, customer, and market data into actionable insights that influence product strategy, portfolio decisions, clinical development priorities, and commercial launches. You will serve as a strategic partner to global headquarters, regional teams, and affiliate stakeholders while providing technical leadership for business intelligence platforms and advanced analytics initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong pharmaceutical analytics expertise, advanced data management capabilities, business intelligence experience, and strategic thinking to support global healthcare decisions that impact millions of patients worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

Customer & Market Insights Generation

  • Generate high-quality customer, patient, and market insights across key therapeutic areas, including:

    • Cardiovascular Diseases

    • Metabolic Disorders

    • Obesity

    • Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH)

    • Other strategic therapy areas

  • Analyze customer behavior, treatment patterns, prescribing trends, and market dynamics.

  • Identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends impacting business performance.

  • Deliver actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making.


Strategic Business Analytics

  • Translate complex business questions into structured analytical frameworks and actionable insights.

  • Support critical business decisions related to:

    • Product Launch Strategy

    • Portfolio Prioritization

    • Clinical Development Investments

    • Commercial Excellence Initiatives

    • Market Expansion Opportunities

  • Provide evidence-based recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Support asset evaluation and clinical gate decision-making processes.


Advanced Analytics & Data Science

  • Lead and execute:

    • Descriptive Analytics

    • Diagnostic Analytics

    • Predictive Analytics

    • Prescriptive Analytics

  • Apply advanced analytical methodologies to solve business challenges.

  • Support implementation of:

    • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

    • Machine Learning (ML)

    • Automation Solutions

    • Data Science Models

  • Develop predictive models and forecasting frameworks to support strategic planning.


Business Intelligence & Data Platform Ownership

  • Lead development and maintenance of enterprise analytics platforms and dashboards.

  • Drive enhancement of Patient Data Warehouse capabilities.

  • Design, develop, and optimize business intelligence solutions using:

    • Power BI

    • SQL

    • Python

    • Snowflake

    • Databricks

    • Other enterprise analytics tools

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, scalability, and accessibility across analytics platforms.

  • Manage dashboard refresh cycles, data pipelines, and reporting automation.


Data Management & Integration

  • Integrate and manage large-scale commercial, patient, and healthcare datasets.

  • Ensure consistency, governance, and quality of analytical data assets.

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to streamline data acquisition and processing.

  • Support modernization and optimization of analytics infrastructure.


Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with:

    • Global Headquarters (HQ)

    • Regional Teams

    • Country Affiliates

    • Commercial Teams

    • Marketing Teams

    • Medical Affairs

    • Market Access Teams

    • Product Strategy Teams

  • Align analytical outputs with evolving business needs.

  • Present complex insights to senior management and executive stakeholders.

  • Facilitate data-driven discussions and strategic planning sessions.


Knowledge Management & Team Enablement

  • Lead onboarding and training activities for new team members.

  • Develop documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.

  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer of:

    • Analytical Models

    • Dashboards

    • Reporting Processes

    • Data Pipelines

  • Promote best practices in analytics, visualization, and business intelligence.


Required Qualifications

Education

Mandatory

Master’s Degree in one of the following disciplines:

  • Business Analytics

  • Data Science

  • Statistics

  • Economics

  • Management

  • Marketing Analytics

  • Operations Research

  • Engineering

  • Quantitative Sciences

Preferred Background

Bachelor’s Degree in:

  • Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

Experience Requirements

Mandatory Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in:

    • Pharmaceutical Analytics

    • Commercial Analytics

    • Market Research & Insights

    • Healthcare Data Analytics

    • Business Intelligence

  • Experience handling large commercial and healthcare datasets.

  • Experience supporting strategic business decisions through data-driven insights.

Preferred Experience

  • Consulting experience within healthcare or life sciences.

  • Experience in global pharmaceutical organizations.

  • Exposure to product launches and portfolio strategy initiatives.

  • Experience supporting senior leadership decision-making.
