About the Role
Infosys is seeking a GCP Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves working closely with architects, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud environments while driving cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Solution Architecture
Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Translate business requirements into cloud-native architectures and implementation plans.
Develop reusable cloud architecture frameworks and best practices.
Support enterprise cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
GCP Platform Implementation
Lead implementation of GCP services across compute, storage, networking, databases, IAM, and monitoring.
Configure and manage cloud infrastructure components.
Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Support deployment and maintenance of cloud-based applications.
Cloud Governance & Security
Establish cloud governance standards and security controls.
Implement IAM, compliance policies, monitoring, and audit mechanisms.
Ensure adherence to security, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
Drive cloud cost optimization and operational excellence initiatives.
Technical Leadership & Support
Review architecture designs, code, and infrastructure configurations.
Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
Automation & DevOps
Develop reusable templates and automation frameworks.
Support CI/CD implementation and cloud deployment automation.
Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
Improve operational efficiency through automation.
Stakeholder & Project Management
Collaborate with architects, business teams, and engineering teams.
Support cloud migration and workload modernization projects.
Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and project reports.
Communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
