About the Role

Sanofi is seeking an experienced Digital R&D Launch & Marketed Products Product Owner to lead the strategy, delivery, governance, and value realization of digital products supporting Global Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance (PSPV) functions.

This role sits within the Digital Launch & Market Products (LMP) organization and focuses on delivering AI-powered, automation-enabled digital solutions that enhance patient safety, accelerate regulatory processes, improve operational efficiency, and support compliance across the pharmaceutical product lifecycle.

The Product Owner will define product vision, drive agile product delivery, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure measurable business value through innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

  • Align product goals with Sanofi’s global Digital R&D and business objectives.

  • Collaborate with Digital and Business leadership to establish long-term product direction.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, digital innovations, and product management best practices.

Product Ownership & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept through MVP and continuous enhancements.

  • Define clear product goals and prioritize initiatives that deliver business value.

  • Manage product backlog and roadmap prioritization.

  • Balance short-term business needs with long-term innovation objectives.

  • Ensure Agile methodologies and product development best practices are followed.

  • Drive successful product releases and continuous delivery.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Establish governance frameworks to support product delivery and value realization.

  • Partner with:

    • Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance Teams

    • Global Regulatory Affairs

    • Medical Affairs

    • Digital Data & AI Teams

    • Enterprise Architecture Teams

    • R&D Business Functions

  • Facilitate decision-making and stakeholder alignment.

  • Manage risks, dependencies, and resource planning.

AI & Digital Innovation

  • Champion AI-powered solutions and automation opportunities.

  • Integrate AI-driven insights and intelligent workflows into user journeys.

  • Utilize modern AI tools to accelerate design, testing, and product iteration.

  • Support digital transformation initiatives across Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance operations.

Product Value & Performance

  • Measure product performance using business and user-centric KPIs.

  • Drive user adoption through intuitive and impactful digital experiences.

  • Monitor user satisfaction, engagement, and product utilization.

  • Deliver measurable improvements in:

    • Productivity

    • Compliance

    • Quality

    • Operational Efficiency

    • Cycle Time Reduction

  • Continuously improve products based on evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in:

    • Computer Science

    • Information Technology

    • Engineering

    • Data Science

    • STEM Discipline

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree (MBA, Engineering, Technology, or Related Field)

Experience

  • 10+ years of overall IT industry experience.

  • 5+ years of experience as:

    • Product Owner

    • Product Manager

    • Digital Product Lead

    • Digital Transformation Lead

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences organizations.

  • Experience managing enterprise digital products and platforms.
