About the Organization

One of the world’s largest Clinical Research Organizations with Early Phase Clinical Research Units in the UK and US.
This role supports Phase I clinical trials (e.g., first-in-human, ascending dose, food-effect, DDI studies).


Role Overview

The Dietary Coordinator interacts directly with healthy volunteer participants and supports dietary management required in clinical research protocols.
You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with exposure to various therapeutic areas and study types.

This role allows you to contribute directly to early drug development, ensuring safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic evaluation of investigational drugs.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Study Support

  • Follow study-specific dietary requisitions to create participant menus.

  • Collaborate with the dietician for nutritional guidance.

  • Ensure strict adherence to protocol-related dietary requirements.

Operations & Logistics

  • Place dietary orders with approved vendors.

  • Coordinate delivery and stocking of dietary supplies.

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels (dietary supplies & soft drinks).

  • Track and record study meal costs for reporting.

  • Oversee Dietary Assistant schedules and task assignments.

  • Support departmental and corporate initiatives.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

Education & Certification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Food Service Certification (preferred).

Skills

  • Basic computer skills: data entry, email, word processing.

  • Ability to understand simple instructions, memos, and written directives.

  • Strong time-management skills; ability to work under strict time constraints.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, protocol-driven, technology-based environment.

  • Strong teamwork and people skills.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of related experience.

  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in place of educational requirements.
