Job Overview
The Data Quality Analyst (Data & Reporting Analyst) will track, validate, analyze, and present operational metrics to ensure high-quality delivery of clinical trials. The role supports internal stakeholders, alliance sponsors, and senior leadership by converting complex datasets into actionable insights and identifying operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
Track and report operational metrics aligned with contractual and organizational timelines
Develop dashboards and performance tracking tools
Validate data accuracy and integrity before analysis
Interpret trends and identify business risks using analytical reasoning
Partner with Business Partners, Alliance VPs, and Directors to review analytics and provide subject matter expertise
Present findings to senior leadership
Support KPI development and governance initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve data quality issues
Provide reporting guidance and metrics training to internal teams
Experience Level: Mid-Level
Experience Required:
Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or data quality
Pharma, biotechnology, or CRO industry experience strongly preferred
Hands-on experience in data governance and resolving data quality issues
Experience working with cross-functional operational teams
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree required (Life Sciences, Clinical, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field preferred)
Clinical background is an advantage
Required Skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
Understanding of statistical concepts and data validation methods
Experience creating dashboards and KPI reports
Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
Strong communication skills across senior and cross-functional stakeholders
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
