About the Role
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a motivated Data Quality Analyst III to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across the enterprise. As part of the team, you will play a key role in managing data quality assessments, validations, and improvements, supporting various business initiatives with your expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Perform data quality assessments and validations to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Develop and implement data quality scorecards to monitor metrics related to data quality.
Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, and team members to identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues.
Utilize Experian Aperture Data Studio to enhance data quality and support business needs.
Maintain documentation for data quality processes and improvements.
Work closely with IT and business teams to support data quality initiatives and projects.
Provide training and support to colleagues on data quality best practices.
Required Experience
Hands-on experience with Experian Aperture Data Studio or similar data quality systems.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, or R.
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Experience
Good understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
Familiarity with data management principles and standard methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data quality analysis or a related role.
Certification in data quality or data management (preferred but not required).
