Role Overview
The Data Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing clinical trial data workflows, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with operational standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to ensure timely and accurate data processing in alignment with sponsor requirements and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, issuing queries to sites or sponsors to verify demographic and visit information.
Enter data resolutions and revisions across operational systems with accuracy and timeliness.
Process and file source data following established workflows and SOPs.
Maintain departmental metrics and actively participate in training and development programs.
Report equipment or system issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Keep accurate and complete data coordination files, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
Archive closed studies upon study lock notification and support data reconciliation activities to meet sponsor timelines.
Attend Project Assurance meetings and provide constructive feedback.
Assist in training temporary or new staff on departmental processes and tools.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in data coordination, clinical data processing, or related functions.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and clinical data management systems.
Strong typing, data entry, and proofreading skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Ability to work on-site in Bangalore or in a hybrid remote setup.
