Position Overview: Consultant – Safety

Help us innovate in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance! Veeva is seeking experts in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance to join our Professional Services team and support the implementation of our Vault Safety solution. We are looking for innovative thinkers with deep domain expertise who are ready to challenge the status quo with new technology.

As a key member of our Professional Services team, you will work closely with customers and collaborate with senior consultants and Solution Architects to implement Vault Safety. In this role, you will define and drive business processes, support project delivery, and guide our customers throughout the implementation journey.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support life sciences customers in the rapid configuration and implementation of Vault Safety.
  • Facilitate workshops and lead discussions on the Vault Development Cloud.
  • Conduct gap analyses, prepare for and deliver workshops, gather requirements, and provide customer training.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into system configurations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance for both customers and project teams.
  • Represent Safety Professional Services across multiple engagements, including solution design, data migration, and systems integration.
  • Ensure customer success throughout the engagement life cycle.
  • Provide expertise on migrating data from systems like Argus or Aris into Vault Safety.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years in the life sciences industry, predominantly in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance, preferably in a consulting role.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance processes and regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with safety systems such as Aris, Argus, Emperica, Commonwealth, RxLogix, or custom safety systems.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and deliver high satisfaction.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Independence: Must have worked in an individual contributor role previously.
  • Agility: Ability to quickly understand business requirements and design effective solutions for Vault Safety.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 25% of project time.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Mindset: A strong customer success attitude and proactive approach.

Nice to Have:

  • Proven experience supporting global system implementation programs as a consultant or business sponsor.
  • Direct experience with Argus or other drug safety applications.
  • Degree in life sciences, computer science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with SaaS/Cloud solutions.
  • Experience in service delivery management or systems implementation.
  • Proximity to major life sciences hubs (e.g., Bangalore, Hyderabad).
