Role Overview – Consultant / Analyst (HEOR Strategy)

IQVIA is seeking highly motivated professionals to join its regional European HEOR strategy team. The selected candidate will contribute to the development of evidence-based solutions supporting reimbursement, pricing, value communication, and market access strategies.

Both Consultant and Analyst roles focus on delivering high-quality HEOR services, with scope and responsibility aligned to experience level.

Key Responsibilities

Health Economics & Outcomes Research Delivery

  • Develop and deliver health economic models (cost-effectiveness, budget impact, cost-utility models).

  • Conduct evidence synthesis, systematic literature reviews, and meta-analyses.

  • Perform statistical analysis to support payer and reimbursement submissions.

  • Contribute to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) dossiers and value communication materials.

  • Support publication strategy, scientific reports, and client-facing documentation.

Project Execution & Quality Assurance

  • Deliver assigned project tasks independently under supervision of senior team members.

  • Ensure scientific rigor, methodological accuracy, and regulatory compliance in all deliverables.

  • Present findings and analyses clearly to internal stakeholders and clients.

Strategic & Business Contribution

  • Support business development activities, including proposal writing and methodology input.

  • Contribute to the development of innovative HEOR methodologies and internal initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers and subject matter experts.

Required Experience

For Analyst Role:

  • 0–2 years of experience in HEOR, HTA, health economics research, or related healthcare research field.

  • Strong academic background with demonstrated analytical capabilities.

For Consultant Role:

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in HEOR, HTA submissions, economic modelling, or payer evidence strategy within consulting, pharma, CRO, or research environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage project components independently and engage with clients.

Educational Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related discipline required.

Core Competencies

  • Strong analytical and quantitative modelling skills

  • Experience in economic modelling and evidence synthesis

  • Understanding of global HTA frameworks and reimbursement processes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic insights

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work in cross-functional global teams
