Job Description: Consultant

Overview

We are currently seeking a Consultant to join our growing team at Navitas Life Sciences. This role focuses on the successful delivery of consultancy projects, managing project workstreams and client relationships, and initiating business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Implementation

  • Own defined project deliverables and act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients at a functional or team level.
  • Understand client needs and contribute to the creation and management of project plans.
  • Contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of project recommendations and development of robust client solutions.
  • Support client workshops and conduct stakeholder interviews as required.
  • Manage project documentation, including the preparation and filing of documents (e.g., VPO, status reports).
  • Conduct data analysis, including document/data collection, data analysis, and interpretation.

Relationship Building

  • Support client relationships by demonstrating an understanding of the business and client’s needs.
  • Liaise effectively with both internal colleagues and external client team members.
  • Identify any business development or sell-on opportunities and pass them to the project lead or account owner.
  • Work effectively with colleagues, including project and internal teams.

Organizational Support

  • Act as an effective team member, participate in company meetings, and support Navitas Life Sciences values and practices.
  • Contribute to the development of collateral for projects/domain areas (e.g., case studies, PoV, tools).
  • Demonstrate professionalism, drive, and responsibility for tasks and personal development within Navitas Life Sciences.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3 years in a Life Science industry or consulting role.
  • Experience in one of the following areas is preferred:
    • Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance
    • Clinical Development Processes
    • Labelling, Regulatory Affairs
    • Risk Management, Quality and Compliance

Evidence of Capability

  • Basic consulting skills, including:
    • Analytical thinking skills and tools.
    • Process mapping techniques.
    • Workshop facilitation and leading brainstorming/problem-solving work sessions.
  • Clear, concise, and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to understand and articulate client needs.
  • Confidence in presenting and leading meetings.
  • Client interviewing techniques.
  • Developing project management and client relationship management skills.
  • Personal skills: Confidence, professionalism, self-starter, resilience, and social awareness.
