Job Overview

Reventics is hiring Medical Coders to support day-to-day coding and auditing activities related to patient charts and diagnosis reports. This role requires a solid understanding of medical coding standards, productivity-driven performance, and strict adherence to client and regulatory guidelines.

The position is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in coding workflows who are looking to grow within a structured healthcare delivery environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate medical coding and/or auditing of patient charts and diagnosis reports as per project requirements.

  • Update and clear production and pending reports within defined timelines.

  • Apply client-specific instructions, updates, and coding guidelines during production.

  • Work closely with Team Leaders to meet quality and productivity expectations.

  • Review emails and communications regularly for workflow or guideline updates.

  • Identify coding or process-related issues and escalate them to the immediate supervisor.

  • Maintain strict compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.

  • Prepare, update, and maintain daily and monthly coding productivity and status reports.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of medical coding concepts and healthcare documentation.

  • Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, EMR, HIPAA, and medical billing workflows.

  • Understanding of revenue cycle management and healthcare operations.

  • Ability to meet daily and monthly productivity and accuracy targets.

  • Good attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.


Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 6 months to 3 years of hands-on medical coding experience.

  • Education: Graduation in any discipline (preferred).

  • Certification: Medical coding certification is preferred but not mandatory.
