Position Overview
The Clinical Trial Educator (CTE) provides education and support for clinical trial execution. Responsibilities include delivering in-service presentations, guiding trial coordinators and healthcare providers on inclusion/exclusion criteria, and optimizing patient enrollment. The CTE collaborates with CRAs, field medical teams, referring physicians, and patient support networks to ensure trial success.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Educational Support
Educate trial coordinators and healthcare providers on clinical trial criteria.
Conduct in-service presentations to increase patient enrollment.
Collaborate with CRAs and field teams to develop recruitment plans.
Work with referring physicians and support groups to optimize site performance.
Operational & Administrative Duties
Conduct referral outreach, chart reviews, and data abstraction.
Coordinate activities across multiple functions.
Work independently and manage tasks with minimal oversight.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
Clinical research experience
Active license or credential in one of the following:
MD – Medical Doctor
DO – Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
RN – Registered Nurse
NP – Nurse Practitioner
PA – Physician Assistant
Pharmacist – RPh or PharmD
Occupational Therapist
Physical Therapist
Respiratory Therapist
Preferred:
Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC)
2+ years of experience as a Clinical Trial Educator or in healthcare education
Community engagement and diversity in clinical trials experience
Business experience and customer service skills
Strong technology, administrative, and presentation skills
Excellent oral and written communication
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range: $62,300 – $195,100 annually
Actual pay varies based on qualifications, experience, location, and schedule.
