Position Overview

The Clinical Trial Educator (CTE) provides education and support for clinical trial execution. Responsibilities include delivering in-service presentations, guiding trial coordinators and healthcare providers on inclusion/exclusion criteria, and optimizing patient enrollment. The CTE collaborates with CRAs, field medical teams, referring physicians, and patient support networks to ensure trial success.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Educational Support

  • Educate trial coordinators and healthcare providers on clinical trial criteria.

  • Conduct in-service presentations to increase patient enrollment.

  • Collaborate with CRAs and field teams to develop recruitment plans.

  • Work with referring physicians and support groups to optimize site performance.

Operational & Administrative Duties

  • Conduct referral outreach, chart reviews, and data abstraction.

  • Coordinate activities across multiple functions.

  • Work independently and manage tasks with minimal oversight.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum)

  • Clinical research experience

  • Active license or credential in one of the following:

    • MD – Medical Doctor

    • DO – Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

    • RN – Registered Nurse

    • NP – Nurse Practitioner

    • PA – Physician Assistant

    • Pharmacist – RPh or PharmD

    • Occupational Therapist

    • Physical Therapist

    • Respiratory Therapist

Preferred:

  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC)

  • 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Trial Educator or in healthcare education

  • Community engagement and diversity in clinical trials experience

  • Business experience and customer service skills

  • Strong technology, administrative, and presentation skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $62,300 – $195,100 annually

  • Actual pay varies based on qualifications, experience, location, and schedule.

  • Incentive plans, bonuses, and additional benefits may apply.
