Role Overview

The Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater (Marathi Speaking) plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of clinical outcome assessments in CNS and stroke-related clinical trials. This home-based, part-time role involves reviewing rating scales, supporting rater calibration, and providing real-time feedback to maintain high data quality standards across global studies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in rater orientation, training, and calibration sessions for clinical trials.

  • Review clinical case data and assessment documentation in preparation for rater discussions.

  • Conduct scheduled interactions with raters to provide guidance on scoring methodology and best practices.

  • Evaluate assessment quality and consistency across rating scales used in stroke and CNS trials.

  • Conduct mock interviews and contribute to rater training initiatives as required.

  • Complete assigned tasks, documentation, and reports accurately within defined timelines.

  • Support effective communication to ensure ongoing data reliability and regulatory compliance.


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience administering psychiatric or neurological rating scales and structured clinical interviews (such as mRS and/or EQ-5D-5L).

  • At least 3+ years of clinical experience working with psychiatric or neurological patient populations.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience administering assessments within clinical research trials (excluding academic or doctoral training).

  • Prior experience in CNS or stroke clinical trials is highly desirable.


Educational Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, or equivalent discipline required.

  • MD, DO, or PhD qualification is preferred.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills for effective interaction with global stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and time management ability.

  • Proficiency in Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time clinical research environment.


Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

  • Native-level proficiency in Marathi is mandatory.
