Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater – Gujarati Speaking (Remote, Part-Time)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater (Gujarati Speaking) to support global stroke-focused clinical trials through standardized patient assessments and rater quality oversight. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, protocol adherence, and inter-rater reliability across multicenter clinical studies.

The position is fully remote and ideal for healthcare professionals with clinical stroke experience and proficiency in validated neurological assessment scales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer standardized stroke-related outcome assessments, including EQ-5D-5L (interviewer and proxy versions) and Modified Rankin Scale (mRS)

  • Evaluate and review stroke assessments conducted by other raters to ensure accuracy, consistency, and protocol compliance

  • Conduct live feedback sessions with raters to improve scoring accuracy and methodology

  • Participate in training, certification, calibration, and orientation sessions to maintain rater consistency

  • Prepare thoroughly for rater interactions by reviewing patient cases, trial documentation, and assessment data

  • Complete scheduled rater interactions and submit required documentation within defined timelines

  • Support mock interviews and functional performance evaluations of raters as required


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum: Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Medicine, Neurology, Psychology, or a related healthcare discipline

  • Preferred: MD, DO, or PhD

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience working with stroke patients

  • Prior experience administering stroke-related outcome scales in clinical trials or research settings

Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrated proficiency in administering EQ-5D-5L and mRS assessments

  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills

  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment

  • Fluency in Gujarati (spoken and written) is mandatory

  • Work Mode: Remote / Home-based

  • Time Commitment: Flexible, approximately 2–12 hours per month

  • Travel: Not required
