Your Role: Clinical Solutions Specialist

(Also known as Clinical Solutions Consultant)

In this role, you will provide clinical expertise, best practices, and professional support for Baxter’s Care Communications product portfolio, including Nurse Call and Digital Health products.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams (Project Managers, Engineers) and external hospital staff to implement, support, and optimize clinical technology solutions.

Reports to: Clinical Operations Manager


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical program components for sales and service projects — including clinical assessments, design strategy, user testing, and launch support.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Implementation Consultants, and Sales teams for smooth deployment.

  • Conduct clinical workflow assessments (e.g., nurse call, voice, text, EHR, monitoring systems).

  • Lead clinical workshops to guide clinicians in selecting optimal Care Communication configurations.

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure successful adoption and outcomes.

  • Prepare clinical content (written/verbal) to support sales and service engagements.

  • Manage clinical documentation, quality control, and project lifecycle records.

  • Provide executive summaries and reports to hospital partners.

  • Travel requirement: Up to 80%.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: RN, BSN (Required)

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years in acute care hospital settings, collaborating with clinical staff and leadership.

    • Proven acute care nursing experience.

    • Strong knowledge of clinical technology design and implementation.

    • Experience driving organizational change for technology adoption.

    • Excellent conflict resolution, communication, and analytical skills.

    • Ability to translate clinical needs into IT and digital health solutions.

    • Familiarity with healthcare standards and trends.


Compensation

  • Estimated Base Salary: $72,000 – $108,000 per year

  • Final pay based on location, experience, and expertise.

  • Eligible for bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.
