Overview:

We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Paramedics to work directly with healthy volunteer participants, execute clinical research protocols, and support our fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

In this role, you will collaborate with top pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies during the critical early stages of clinical development. You will help establish the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of investigational drugs, gaining hands-on experience with innovative therapies while impacting patient safety worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will apply clinical knowledge and judgment to provide high-quality care within research settings. Responsibilities include:

  • Perform vital signs assessments: blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, and weight measurements.

  • Conduct phlebotomy, ECGs, Holter monitoring, and preparation of medical equipment.

  • Collect, process, and distribute biological samples according to study protocols and SOPs.

  • Monitor participant meals for dietary compliance in accordance with study guidelines.

  • Assist with screening procedures, room preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean clinical environment.

  • Accurately document clinical data into electronic systems.

  • Support a variety of early-phase study types including first-in-human, ascending dose, food effect, and drug-drug interaction studies.

  • Other duties as assigned to ensure smooth study execution.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA certifications preferred.

  • Paramedics must hold valid Wisconsin state certification.

  • 0–1 year of related healthcare or clinical experience required.

  • Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, protocol-driven environment.

  • Comfortable with electronic data capture and technology-based workflows.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to adapt to changing priorities.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • On-site clinical setting; occasional exposure to biological samples.

  • Ability to work upright or stationary for 6–8 hours per day.

  • Repetitive hand movements for lab procedures and equipment operation.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, and twisting of upper body and neck.

  • Ability to lift/carry objects up to 15–20 lbs, including laptops and equipment.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
