💡 Role Overview

As a Clinical Research Nurse, you’ll provide hands-on clinical care to healthy volunteer participants while working within strict research protocols.
You’ll engage in diverse study types, including:

  • Ascending Dose

  • First-in-Human

  • Food Effect

  • Drug-to-Drug Interaction Studies

This position offers variety, growth, and the chance to practice nursing skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and tech-enabled clinical research environment.


🩺 Key Responsibilities

You will apply your clinical knowledge, judgment, and skills to deliver high standards of participant care in accordance with study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

🔹 Participant Care & Safety

  • Prioritize participant dignity, health, safety, and welfare at all times.

  • Maintain current emergency certifications and follow company emergency policies.

  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.

  • Use nursing assessments to monitor participant well-being and identify adverse events, documenting and acting as required.

🔹 Study Conduct

  • Obtain and manage Informed Consent (ICF) — educate and guide participants throughout the process.

  • Administer investigational products (IP) (including parenteral) in compliance with protocol and regulations.

  • Perform clinical procedures such as:

    • Cannulation

    • Venipuncture

    • ECGs & Holters

    • Telemetry

    • Vital Signs

🔹 Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in data collection via electronic systems.

  • Support protocol adherence — no deviations tolerated.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant study environment.

🔹 Collaboration

  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining quality and compliance.


🎓 Education & Experience

  • Required: Associate Degree or BS in Nursing

  • Licensure: Current RN license (applicable state)

  • Certifications:

    • CPR/AED – Required

    • ACLS – Preferred (can be obtained post-hire)

  • Experience: 0–1 year related experience (additional experience may substitute educational requirements)
