🧭 Position Overview

The Clinical Trial Educator (CTE) provides education and guidance on clinical trial inclusion/exclusion criteria to trial coordinators, healthcare providers, and referring physicians. The CTE supports patient recruitment and engagement, develops referral networks, and collaborates with CRAs and field-based medical teams to optimize trial execution. This is a field-based role requiring up to 75% nationwide travel.


⚙️ Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-service presentations to healthcare providers and trial staff to increase patient enrollment.

  • Collaborate with CRAs and field-based medical teams to develop and implement tailored recruitment plans.

  • Build and maintain referral networks with physicians and support groups in relevant therapeutic areas.

  • Conduct community engagement activities to promote clinical trial participation.

  • Coordinate and complete multi-functional tasks across clinical sites.

  • Execute patient recruitment activities including chart reviews, referral outreach, and data abstraction.

  • Work independently with minimal oversight, demonstrating initiative and accountability.

  • Travel frequently (up to 75%) to support site activities and attend meetings as needed.


🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree required

  • Licenses/Certifications: RN license preferred; CCRC preferred

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years as a Clinical Trial Educator or in healthcare education preferred

    • Clinical research experience required

    • Community engagement experience required

    • Diversity and inclusion in clinical trials experience preferred

  • Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities and execute tasks independently

    • Business acumen, analytical thinking, persuasion, influence, negotiation, and leadership skills

    • Flexibility to learn new products and processes

💰 Compensation

  • Base Pay Range (Annualized): $74,900 – $156,300
