🧭 Position Overview
The Clinical Trial Educator (CTE) provides education and guidance on clinical trial inclusion/exclusion criteria to trial coordinators, healthcare providers, and referring physicians. The CTE supports patient recruitment and engagement, develops referral networks, and collaborates with CRAs and field-based medical teams to optimize trial execution. This is a field-based role requiring up to 75% nationwide travel.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
Provide in-service presentations to healthcare providers and trial staff to increase patient enrollment.
Collaborate with CRAs and field-based medical teams to develop and implement tailored recruitment plans.
Build and maintain referral networks with physicians and support groups in relevant therapeutic areas.
Conduct community engagement activities to promote clinical trial participation.
Coordinate and complete multi-functional tasks across clinical sites.
Execute patient recruitment activities including chart reviews, referral outreach, and data abstraction.
Work independently with minimal oversight, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
Travel frequently (up to 75%) to support site activities and attend meetings as needed.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree required
Licenses/Certifications: RN license preferred; CCRC preferred
Experience:
Minimum 2 years as a Clinical Trial Educator or in healthcare education preferred
Clinical research experience required
Community engagement experience required
Diversity and inclusion in clinical trials experience preferred
Skills:
Strong interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities and execute tasks independently
