Job Overview

Accenture is seeking an experienced Clinical Data Services Specialist to join its Life Sciences R&D practice in Bengaluru. This senior-level role focuses on clinical data services and clinical reports management, supporting global biopharmaceutical clients across the clinical development lifecycle. The position is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in clinical databases, EDC systems, and clinical reporting technologies who are ready to take on strategic and team leadership responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver clinical trial reports using SAS, J-Review, Cognos, SQL, and PL/SQL in line with study requirements.

  • Support end-to-end clinical data services, including data validation, reporting, and analytics for clinical trials.

  • Design, build, and maintain Clinical EDC systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

  • Perform clinical database programming and optimize data workflows for efficiency and quality.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance by adhering to industry standards, SOPs, and client-specific guidelines.

  • Analyze and resolve moderately complex clinical data and reporting challenges.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to align deliverables with study objectives.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members and manage small project teams as required.

  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices in clinical data reporting and management.

  • Participate in rotational shifts based on project and business requirements.


Experience Requirements

  • 7 to 11 years of hands-on experience in Clinical Data Services, Clinical Reporting, or Clinical Database Management within the life sciences or CRO domain.

  • Proven experience in clinical trial reporting and analytics for global studies.


Educational Qualifications

  • BE / BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.


Required Skills & Technical Expertise

  • Strong expertise in Clinical Database Programming and Clinical EDC Build & Design.

  • Advanced proficiency in SAS, J-Review, Cognos, SQL, and PL/SQL.

  • Solid understanding of clinical trial data workflows, regulatory requirements, and data standards.

  • Experience working with global clinical trials and regulatory submissions.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under deadlines.

  • Effective communication skills for interaction with internal teams and client stakeholders.

  • Leadership capability to guide teams and align execution with strategic goals.
