Job Summary:
ICON plc, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is seeking a Clinical Data Enablement Data Aggregation Lead in Chennai/Bangalore. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in computer science, data science, informatics, or life sciences, and strong experience in end-to-end clinical data flow, transformation, and vendor coordination. The selected candidate will enable data flow for Phase I-IV clinical trials, ensuring accuracy, quality, and readiness for analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end data flow for Phase I-IV clinical trials, covering ingest, transformation, and internal availability for analysis.
Directly coordinate with vendors and internal functions to establish data transfer specifications, schedules, and mechanisms.
Drive technical and process improvement initiatives related to clinical data flow within the department and across sponsors.
Collaborate cross-functionally with data management, clinical operations, IT support, and other teams to resolve data delivery or stability issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics, or Life Sciences.
Prior pharma or CRO experience working on global clinical studies and process/system initiatives.
In-depth understanding of clinical data systems involving end-to-end data flow and transformation.
Strong communication (verbal and written) skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Familiarity with data review and cleaning processes in clinical research.
