Role Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Content Specialist with a strong medical or laboratory background to lead the curation and standardization of our healthcare platform content. Initially, the focus will be on the Diagnostics (Dx) catalogue, ensuring clinical accuracy, consistency, and patient-friendly presentation.

Upon successful completion of the Diagnostics phase, the role will expand to include Online Medicine Delivery (Rx) listings, ensuring precision in drug information, dosage, side effects, and SKU mappings. This position requires collaboration across Product, Technology, and Operations teams, combining clinical expertise with content governance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1 – Diagnostics Catalogue Curation

  • Audit and validate the existing diagnostic test catalogue, identifying inaccuracies, outdated information, and inconsistent mappings.

  • Update test names, descriptions, specimen types, reference ranges, and patient instructions for clarity and clinical accuracy.

  • Incorporate new vendor diagnostic test data with standardized structure and medical correctness.

  • Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails of all edits and updates.

  • Collaborate with tech and product teams to operationalize curated listings and establish repeatable update protocols.

  • Develop SOPs for validation, quality control, and ongoing maintenance of the Diagnostics catalogue.

Phase 2 – Drug Catalogue Curation (Online Medicine Delivery Platform)

  • Review and refine medicine listings, ensuring accuracy in drug descriptions, indications, dosage, and side-effect information.

  • Verify SKU-level accuracy including product images, packaging details, and mapping to internal product IDs.

  • Resolve discrepancies between drug listings and internal product databases.

  • Maintain a documented audit trail for all changes.

  • Coordinate with tech teams to operationalize updated listings and ensure seamless backend-to-frontend synchronization.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Clinical or allied health degree (MBBS, BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Science, or equivalent).

  • Strong understanding of diagnostic tests, specimen types, medical terminology, and patient-facing content requirements.

  • Familiarity with prescription medicines, drug classifications, and common side-effect profiles.

  • Experience managing or validating diagnostic or drug catalogues for healthcare platforms or e-pharmacy systems.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to simplify complex medical content for patients.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and structured documentation practices.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional engagement with Product, Tech, and Operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical content curation or data management for healthcare or e-pharmacy platforms.

  • Knowledge of diagnostic coding systems (e.g., LOINC, CPT) or drug databases (e.g., WHO-ATC, RxNorm).

  • Familiarity with QA processes, version control, and audit protocols for medical data.

Success Metrics

  • Complete review and correction of 100% of diagnostic listings with detailed audit trails.

  • Patient-facing content is accurate, clinically sound, and concise.

  • Seamless collaboration with Product and Tech teams, ensuring smooth implementation of updates.

  • Successful ownership and expansion into Phase 2 (Drug Listings) after Diagnostics curation.

  • Establishment of ongoing maintenance processes for both Diagnostics and Drug catalogues.
