Role Overview

IQVIA is seeking an experienced CEVA Manager – Adjudication Lead to oversee and drive clinical event validation and adjudication (CEVA) activities across global clinical research programs. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality project execution, seamless customer interaction, adherence to regulatory standards, and cross-functional coordination for endpoint adjudication committees, core laboratories, DSMBs, and steering committees.

The position requires a strong combination of operational oversight, customer management, project planning, financial accountability, and process optimization to ensure consistent service delivery excellence.


Experience Level

Senior-Level Role
Minimum 6–10 years of clinical research/CEVA experience with proven leadership and project management expertise.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery Excellence

  • Lead and manage all assigned CEVA projects, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality services.

  • Act as the primary CEVA point of contact for customers, internal teams, and external partners.

  • Oversee project planning, including timelines, deliverables, resources, financial tracking, central filing, and archiving.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure consistent communication across all project phases.

  • Support customer engagement from scoping and proposal generation through service delivery and lifecycle management.

  • Facilitate discussions with existing clients to identify new business opportunities and promote contract renewals.

Documentation, Reporting & Systems Oversight

  • Develop, finalize, and distribute CEVA project documentation, programmed reports, listings, and operational materials.

  • Collaborate with technical partners to manage the development and testing of electronic CEVA systems.

  • Provide training for internal teams, monitors, and site personnel on CEVA processes when required.

Strategic & Operational Oversight

  • Contribute to organizational strategic initiatives at project, program, and department levels.

  • Support cross-functional teams to ensure global consistency in CEVA processes.

  • Manage project financials including budgeting, revenue recognition, invoicing, financial analysis, and change order tracking.

Quality, Compliance & Audit Readiness

  • Oversee audits and inspections for assigned CEVA projects.

  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to address corrective action plans.

  • Ensure full compliance with GCP, ICH, SOPs, and regional regulatory requirements.

Business Support & Growth

  • Support proposal development, bid defenses, sales presentations, and strategic planning activities.

  • Promote customer loyalty by ensuring service delivery excellence and seamless execution.

  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative cross-functional solutions aligned with CEVA service lines.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and global clinical research regulatory frameworks.

  • Deep knowledge of CEVA functions, with willingness to expand expertise across CEVA service lines.

  • Excellent team management, leadership, conflict resolution, and delegation skills.

  • Advanced project management capabilities including planning, reporting, presentations, and customer focus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to lead teleconferences and engage stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and ambiguity in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management.

  • Cross-trained in at least two CEVA service lines preferred.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary Range:
$85,300 – $213,100 (dependent on experience, skills, location, and work schedule)

Additional compensation may include performance incentives, bonuses, and comprehensive health and welfare benefits.
