Role Overview

We are seeking a Centralized Study Spec I – Clinical Invoicing professional to join our Bangalore operations team. The role is pivotal in managing clinical invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position requires strong analytical and financial skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work with confidential financial data within a regulated environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute clinical invoicing processes with precision and timeliness.

  • Analyze study budgets, margins, and bill rates to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain and update invoicing records in Fortrea Workday and other financial systems.

  • Handle confidential financial data with discretion and integrity.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operational workflows.

  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and analytics using advanced Excel functionalities (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance invoicing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Provide guidance on global invoicing standards and compliance requirements, if applicable.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data analysis.

  • Strong financial acumen with understanding of budgets, margins, and billing rates.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.

  • Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information responsibly.

  • Familiarity with Fortrea Workday or other financial systems is preferred.

  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical mindset.


Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in clinical invoicing, financial operations, or study billing within a clinical research or pharmaceutical environment.

  • Exposure to global invoicing standards, clinical trial financial compliance, or regulatory reporting.

  • Experience in process improvement, reporting, and stakeholder management in a multinational or clinical research setting.
