Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Support: Oversee and manage patient service issues regarding insurance, specialty pharmacy, and patient support programs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Regional Business Managers (RBMs), Patient Access Liaison (PAL), Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and other stakeholders to ensure insurance approvals, reauthorizations, and therapy access.
  • Case Management: Maintain patient histories, track reimbursement and shipping statuses, troubleshoot reimbursement issues, and support patients in navigating insurance and financial assistance options.
  • Trend Analysis: Identify trends in patient adherence and reimbursement and report updates on patient statuses, reimbursement trends, and roadblocks.
  • Industry Engagement: Participate in patient meetings, industry conferences, and sales meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree OR
    • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Case Management experience OR
    • Associate’s degree with 6+ years of Case Management experience OR
    • High school diploma/GED with 8+ years of Case Management experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • 2+ years of prior experience as a Case Manager.
    • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
    • Ability to manage multiple cases and work with teams across various geographies.
    • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Up to 20% travel required.
