Job Overview

The Biostatistician II will perform lead statistical responsibilities on simple and medium complexity studies, providing statistical oversight, analysis, and review, while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. The role involves collaboration with senior statistical staff and project teams.


Key Responsibilities

Statistical Oversight & Analysis

  • Perform Lead Biostatistician duties for simple studies.

  • Prepare Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), including mock TFL (Tables, Figures, Listings) shells for simple and medium complexity studies under senior supervision.

  • Conduct statistical analyses for medium complexity studies.

  • Review and perform overall statistical review of TFLs prior to client delivery.

  • Review CRFs and other study-specific specifications and plans.

  • Perform sample size calculations for Clinical Pharmacology studies under supervision.

  • Provide statistical input and review of the Clinical Study Report (CSR) for simple studies.

  • Generate and review randomization schedules from provided specifications under senior staff supervision.

Project Management & Communication

  • Maintain awareness of project budgets and tasks; communicate status to line management and project manager.

  • Attend relevant project meetings and provide statistical guidance.

Other Duties

  • Perform all other duties as needed or assigned.


Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biostatistics or related field.

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (if applicable).

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in statistical analysis.

  • Ability to program in one or more statistical software packages (SAS® preferred).

  • Effective communication skills to convey statistical concepts clearly.


Physical Demands / Work Environment

  • Travel may be required.

  • Office or remote-based environment as directed by management.
