Our culture is defined by curiosity, responsibility, and humility, and we empower talented people to bring life-changing innovations to patients quickly.

This position is part of the Bioprocess Research Department within the Process Research Unit of pRED’s Large Molecules Research. Our primary focus is the early technical development of next-generation biotherapeutics, and we work closely with technical and biological functions to transform molecule sequences into therapeutic products.

We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bioprocess Scientist to join our highly engaged team of bioprocess, biotechnology, and automation specialists. You will lead the development of downstream processes for next-generation antibody-based therapeutic molecules, including antibody-drug conjugates. In close collaboration with internal and external partners, you will drive conjugation technologies to transition innovative molecules into clinical testing. As a people leader, you will coach a team of approximately ten associates.

Your Impact:

  • Contribute to the transition of molecules from the research phase to patient-ready therapies.
  • Shape and evolve projects involving conjugated molecules (e.g., small molecules or oligonucleotides conjugated to antibodies) by applying novel technologies.
  • Support the department strategy and help evolve bioprocess development strategies and platforms.
  • Coach and guide associates to promote their growth and development.
  • Foster a culture of mutual support, cross-training, continuous learning, and self-organization within your team.

Your Profile:

  • You are passionate about bioprocessing and thrive in environments that value mutual support and collaboration.
  • You bring extensive professional experience in downstream processing of large molecules and conjugated molecules.
  • You have a PhD in biology, biotechnology, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in the biotech or pharma industry.
  • You are an expert in conjugation technologies, specifically in the development of antibody-drug conjugates or other conjugates with antibody-based molecules.
  • You possess a keen interest in accelerating project timelines and developing strategies that consider end-to-end requirements.
  • You are resourceful and flexible in solving problems and excel in collaborative, inclusive teamwork with strong oral and written communication skills.

Your Application:
Please upload your current resume and your latest certificates of education.
