SBO partners with Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations across Sanofi, globally, acting as both a strategic and functional partner for delivering high-quality tactical solutions.
Role Overview
This role provides project management support to scientific writers in ensuring the end-to-end delivery of publication and medical education projects. The position involves managing timelines, compliance processes, budgets, and effective stakeholder collaboration to deliver high-quality medical/scientific communication.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Support
Support scientific writers in delivering publications and medical education projects across all phases.
Initiate/amend submissions based on feedback and track activity delivery, including managing risks/issues.
Develop project scope, build plans/schedules, and align with internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with publication processes and tools (e.g., iEnvision, PromoMats, NAYA).
Manage budgets, track external spend (approvals, purchase orders, invoices).
People
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (medical/scientific community, global business units).
Interact with SBO associates and internal partners to deliver education and communication content.
Leverage new technologies for effective collaboration and project execution.
Performance
Ensure timely delivery and storage of publication/medical education materials (e.g., slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts).
Contribute to continuous improvement by developing tools, processes, and technologies.
Process
Support quality, timeliness, and efficiency in project delivery.
Ensure high scientific standards for all outputs.
Secure adherence to compliance procedures and regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate closely with scientific communication and medical content enhancement teams for end-to-end project delivery.
About You
Experience:
Up to 2 years post-qualification experience in related fields.
Soft Skills:
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Technical Skills:
Project management and scientific/medical writing/communications.
Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry and therapeutic domains.
Familiarity with publication submission processes.
Education:
University graduate (preferably in science or pharmacy).
Advanced/postgraduate degree in life sciences or related disciplines desirable.
Languages:
Excellent spoken and written English.
